Applications are now open for the VanWyk Scholarship. This is available for graduating high school seniors who are entering a secondary education in 2026. Returning college students may be considered if they have not previously been awarded this scholarship. Generously endowed by Jim and Ruth VanWyk, this scholarship aims to support students who show promise in making a difference in the world.
Eligibility: Interested students must submit an application by May 16, 2026 showing active involvement in First Reformed Church and outlining other accomplishments and goals in their life.
Application Process: The application form will be completed online using this link. Deadline for submission is May 16, 2026.
Scholarship Selection: The VanWyk Scholarship is awarded annually by a committee of four. Amounts may vary from year to year and may be awarded to one or several applicants based on application evaluation. Awards are intended to be announced this spring.
